Sponsoring a Child

We are seeking partnerships with organisations, groups or individuals who want to make a real difference in people's lives:

Twenty Euros a month (about a thousand Ethiopian birr) can provide two meals per day from our community kitchen, cover the cost of educational materials, uniforms and footwear as well as health care premium (through Government-subsidised Community Healthcare Insurance). You can also cover partial costs for as much as five euros. We pool resources to cover expenses so that no one is left behind.

You can make a one-off donation through our GofundMe campaign or directly (please get in touch with us at info@ficdo.org for details). Please request receipts when you donate directly.

We encourage local businesses and community members to form groups and sponsor one, two or more children. We encourage our sponsors and supporters to visit our projects in person and follow up with the progress of their key child/children.
